At The Beginning...
To start you off, here are our answers to your burning questions.
And do read our quick round up of 2008.
As their bestman said in his speech, Julene and Kelvin are the only good-looking, non-celebrity Singaporean couple they know, much to the laughter and applause of everyone. Kelvin was charmingly handsome and quiet, Julene was the sweet island girl with one of the loveliest smiles. Together, they looked so good so much so that when Clarence and I were browsing through their wedding photographs, we felt that they looked like models you see in lifestyle campaigns such as "Great Eastern" or "Canon" or the likes.
The speeches that evening were some of the best I've heard in a long time. Julene's best friend revealed how Julene was so ecstatic about getting married and couldn't wait for the day of the wedding to arrive and started calling herself "Mrs Lim" way in advance of the big day. The bestman described his buddy as being such a meticulous person that even his car seats had to be aligned, and gave kudos to Julene for being able to endure not changing the position of her car seat all these years.
Ten years to be exact. What a lovely fairytale. Warms your heart doesn't it? :)
And to celebrate with a night of great food, enchanting decor, tasteful music and of course two beautiful people with a love story so sweet was just beyond perfect.

Thank you Julene and Kelvin for engaging A Little Dream. We enjoyed ourselves performing your wonderful choice of songs and many thanks for arranging such a lovely dinner for myself and Clarence.
Our best wishes to you both!

Compliments from Couple:
You guys did a wonderful job as all my guests were raving about Serene & Clarence!! Thanks once again for making our night all the more special!
Grace said she and Jay are an example of how 'opposites attract'. Jay is an active person who enjoyed the outdoors such as scuba diving, trekking, badminton, while she is more like a 宅女 who loves watching HK dramas.
But one particular day in 1996 at Serangoon Gardens, their paths collided as Grace, who was with a big group of gal friends, asked another a big group of guys to reserve their table for them after they have completed their meals. Since then, the two groups became friends and as the saying goes, the rest is history. Their love journey of 8 years culminated in a grand wedding and solemnisation ceremony at the Chevrons, Jurong.
Thanks for engaging A Little Dream to be part of your special day!

Pine Court at Meritus Mandarin is one of my favourite wedding venues - for its warm service, grand decor and unique tiered structure. And also for its excellent sound system as well. Ein and I had a ball performing the songs that Lauryn and Justin have selected for that evening. Particularly, the Mandarin classics were a great hit with the guests.
Among the evening's highlights is Lauryn and Justin's pre-wedding montage, featuring them in numerous outfits and exquisitely beautifully backdrops, from a Greek Hall to a swing in a lush garden. I think it is one of the nicest indoor photo shoot that I ever seen. Lauryn's cousin Joel also sang two songs, a duet "小酒窝" (Your Dimples) and Jacky Cheung's Cantonese hit "你的名字我的姓氏" (Your Name, My Surname). Joel looked as if he just stepped out of a Korean idol drama series - he looked quite dashing with his cool dress sense and hairstyle. He sang the two songs really well to much applause.
Once again, our congratulations to Lauryn and Justin!

Imelda, Adeline and I had a fantastic time at Azhar and Sri's wedding!
The evening got off to a great start when we met Azhar's friend, Yasser, who made sure our every need was taken care of. He even took some food from the buffet line and asked us to help ourselves during our break!
I was glad to finally meet Azhar, as we had communicated over numerous e-mails to determine which march-in song was most suitable for his sword-bearers. I was honoured that he trusted my recommendation so much, as he chose the one I picked. Here it is:
Imelda and I also enjoyed singing "We Could Be In Love" and the Spanish version of "Lucky". It felt good to challenge ourselves with new songs every now and then. The applause from the audience as we delivered these songs was reward enough.
We also knew that many members of the audience could sing, so we invited two guys (one of whome was Yasser) onstage to perform. In fact, Yasser ended the night's performance with a rousing, full-throated version of the Sinatra classic "My Way". He brought the house down!
Congratulations Azhar and Sri! Thank you once again for engaging us.

We Could Be In Love - Love this song!
The highlight of Vincent and Cheryl's wedding was most definitely Vincent's courageous performance of the popular wedding song, "Grow Old With You".
The butterflies in my stomach have long since disappeared due to my years of performing, but I could still remember how daunting it was to perform in front of a live audience. It wasn't easy for Vincent, since he had to sing and play the guitar at the same time. At the end of the song, he even whipped out a rose secretly taped behind his guitar and offered it to the blushing Cheryl. What a romantic guy!
Kudos to Vincent, and congratulations to the lovely couple!
Thank you for engaging us, and making us feel absolutely at ease. We had a fabulous time!
P.S. Take a look at Vincent's special version of "Grow Old With You"!
Whenever you're sad, pacify you
When you’re feeling so stressed
All I wanna do is
Grow old with you.
I’ll go shopping with you
Pay for all the bills
Carry your bags
When your hands are all full
All I wanna do is
Grow old with you.

Hi Hsin Yeow,
We would like to say a big thank you to you guys.
Melissa sang beautifully and serenade the entire ballroom with her powerful vocals. The band was fantastic as well.
Both songs for the first and second march in were timely and awesome.
Even when the 2nd march in song was decided only on the evening itself, A Little Dream still managed to pull off the performance without a single glitch.
My guests were singing the praises of A Little Dream after the wedding, and a few have asked me for your contacts.
A friend even commented Melissa's voice was so perfect that it sounded like its playing straight from the CD!
Hsin Yeow, thanks very much for coordinating such wonderful entertainment for our great day.
Thanks very much once again.
Best,
Vincent & Cheryl
There's a song by Whitney Houston called "Step by Step", and the lyrics go like this:
Well no-one told me just how to get there
But when I get there I'll know
Cuz I'm taking it
Step by step, bit by bit,
Stone by stone (Yeah), brick by brick
Step by step, day by day, mile by mile
I was thinking about this song when I read what Sihui wrote to me:
"Hugo and I met each other in University. He only took took notice of me in our second year. But he only plucked up the courage to ask me out on our third year final semester."
Oh, but Hugo has a sure-win dating method:
"During our dates, he would have this makansutra guide in his car and he would bring me to different places with good food. You can see he loves good food. =)"
Apart from loving good food, Sihui and Hugo also share a strong connection:
"As for what I love about him, it's got to be the way he can make me laugh till my mouth goes numb, and the strong telepathy between us where many times, we say the same things at the same instant. There are also times where we hum the same songs in our mind subconsciously and one party may just sing it out and surprise both of us."
Eleanor, Nelson and Matthew had a blast performing at Sihui and Nelson's wedding! Eleanor charmed the crowd with her assured hosting, while Nelson crooned his way into the hearts of the guests. Matthew provided solid accompaniment and even harmonised for some of the songs.
Congratulations Sihui and Hugo! Thank you so much for engaging us!

Hi Hsin Yeow,
My hubby and I would like to thank you guys.
We loved it.
The guests loved it.
They even asked us whether you guys are our friends...
Appreciate it. Would definitely recommend our friends to A Little Dream if they enquire.
Thanks,
Sihui
All grooms should take lessons from Hung Choong when it comes to making tear-inducing speeches. This guy is a natural. He was so successful Valerie's tear ducts didn't stand a chance.
His strategy is to lower Valerie's defences by smacking his lips loudly --- muack! --- to demonstrate how he felt when he first laid eyes on her. That got everyone laughing. They laughed even harder when he simulated his heart thumping (pom-pom-pom) when he wanted to speak with Valerie. From his animated gestures, it seemed as if his heart was flying out of his body.
Then he started telling Valerie how she was the angel in his life, how he would always love her, and take care of her and her family. He spoke sincerely and clearly, his eyes never leaving his beautiful bride. Valerie's friend, Grace, quickly passed her some tissue paper to stem the flow of tears. It was a moving scene.
Bevlyn, Matthew, Raziz and I had a great time performing at the wedding. After the guests were sufficiently "warmed up", we got applause after almost every song. Valerie's mom was also singing along with us, and she told me later that she didn't want us to stop!

Another sign that our performance was well-received were the numerous dedications and song requests that came our way. We did as many as we could, and read out the guests' heartwarming messages that accompanied each dedication.
Congratulations, Valerie and Hung Choong! May you both enjoy a lifetime of joy and happiness!

Hi Hsin Yeow,
Thanks for the blog. It was an entertaining and funny account. We were zipping around so quickly that we couldn't enjoy the music!
But from what we heard from our family and friends, they absolutely loved you guys and my dad approved that you were money well spent!

Chun Wing and Leya's wedding was a massive ball for everyone concerned- and by massive we mean MASSIVE, and by ball, we do mean it was just like a royal ball.
It was a huge do in the sprawling spaces of the Swissotel Canning Ballroom, adorned with flowers and, of course, gorgeous guests. It was expertly emceed by a DJ from 933 fm, and us the band were given a special dedicated stage to do our thing.
And of course, the stars of the night themselves, Wing Chun and Leya...they were preceded by a happy entourage of at least ten bridesmaids and best men, all stunning in designer dresses and suits, and the couple themselves, He looking slick and savvy in his three piece and She, svelte and stellar in a pearlescent gown with a creamy royal train, looked like they stepped out of a top end Bridal Magazine. With cameras focused on the glowing pair and the emcee commenting that she felt she was at the union of Chris and Fann, it's not stretching it to say that these guys are one of those unbelievably beautiful Singapore couples.
And obviously they are as loved as they are lovely..their friends were vociferous in their cheering and shouting, especially at silly videos of Leya doing the para para, and Chun Wing leading a mafia crew of suave best men to pick up his bride in the morning, complete with a metal suitcase printed with banknotes to hold the angpow that would be given to the bridesmaids.
Here it is worth noting that the bridesmaids demanded much more than angpow from the groom's crew - the guys had to use their combined leg hair and UHU glue to create a modern art heart shaped pattern before Wing could claim his bride.
Including Leya's colleagues coming up to sing an original love song to wish the couple well, the wedding was full of sweet, sunny, funny moments, and we were hnoured to be part of this huge do

One of the more popular wedding songs is "Because You Loved Me". Penned by master songwriter Dianne Warren, the lyrics speak powerfully of being thankful for all the great things love can do.
It's ideal for a march-in, and I was happy to sing it for Ivy and Gerald as they walked into the gorgeous ballroom of Hotel InterContinental. The emcee even sang along with me!
For all the truth that you made me see
For all the joy you brought to my life
For all the wrong that you made right
For every dream you made come true
For all the love I found in you
I'll be forever thankful baby"
Melvin, our bassist that evening, asked, "Isn't this song usually sung by female artistes?" That's true, but I found a beautiful cover version by Clay Aiken. Take a listen!
Ivy and Gerald's wedding was memorable for me because of the enthusiastic bridesmaids, who went onstage one by one to wish Ivy and Gerald a lifetime of happiness. They were united in their praise for Gerald, but reminded him that it was his fortune to be with Ivy. I'm sure he felt that way too.
Gerald even planned a surprise for Ivy. He sang the classic 月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart), and what made it even mroe special was that he pulled his dad onstage as well! So the two men ended up singing it as a duet! It was a refreshing sight indeed, and everyone applauded them for the valiant effort!
Congratulations Gerald and Ivy! Thank you for engaging us, and we hope to see you again very soon!
P.S. Ivy heard me perform at Ebelle and Jimmy's wedding, so I got to meet both of them again. As guests, they got to listen to the band's performance in its entirety. Glad you enjoyed it, Ebelle and Jimmy!

When the band was setting up and doing soundcheck, Sean came to me and asked for a favour. Something went wrong with the audio component for the photo montage, and he wondered if the band could perform a song while the montage rolled. I was like "Of course!" The song they had originally embedded was "I'm Yours", which was in our repertoire. So we were more than happy to bring on the song!
And unknown to Swee Wei, Sean had also approached the band earlier to practise a song for his bride. After the speech, Sean told the guests, "And now, I'd like to sing a song for my bride...". Swee Wei went "Huh?" in disbelief. Everybody cheered. I was feeling a bit nervous, because I was supposed to hand the lyrics to Sean at this part of the speech, but he decided at the eleventh hour that he didn't need it. My fears were unfounded because once he looked into Swee Wei's eyes and sing the song to her, the lyrics came tumbling out naturally, and Swee Wei was visibly moved to tears.
Love me tender Love me sweet Never let me go.
You have made my life complete And I love you so.
Love me tender Love me true All my dreams fulfilled.
For my darlin I love you And I always will
Mission accomplished :)
Here's wishing Sean and Swee Wei a very blissful marriage ahead from Ian and me! Congratulations! :)

Everything about chijimes was just so right for Wenyao and Fong Yee, from the venue to the decor...they even handpicked the band members! The couple displayed great elegance very subtly, and the band was deeply attracted to further pleasure the guests; to complete the tasteful evening the couple had prepared for them.
It was a delicate evening of swing, and we swung like never before.
A little girl of 6 dedicated a piano piece to the couple and guests, and Ian (our pianist) was watching intently, waiting to help her turn the page but just as the music arrived at the end of the last bar on the page she simply reached out, flipped it and returned to the keys right on the next beat, as if she had rehearsed it many times before!
Wenyao led Fong Yee in a slow dance (come fly with me) immediately after their 2nd march-in. It's such a blessing to be able to play a lovers' tune to lovers, and watch them move and turn in affection for each other.
A lady came up to us before we left and asked for our namecard. she commented 'this is how a band should be! sound good, look good...all black hair and not some gold some orange...' HA!
After watching how Wenyao and Fongyee danced, I remembered my own, two years ago, and went home, held my Mrs for a while, before falling alseep.
Wenyao and Fong Yee, may the Lord bless you abundantly in your lives and marriage!

East of the Sun (And West of the Moon) - Love this jazz classic!
To people in the wedding music business, it's not unheard of for the most beautiful ceremonies to devolve into just another day at the office (albeit a very grand and beautiful office full of happy people).
So At A Little Dream, it's always important, and lovely to hear the personal stories of the new couple. And there are few better sweet, personal stories to keep bands from potential apathy than 'the groom fell in love with the bride at a singing competition.'
Talk about pressure!
Jean is the songstress in question- Kevin, who said quite firmly that he can't sing, first met her at a contest and professed to being captivated by her sweet voice--- a voice which was generously shared with the entire banquet hall of M Hotel when the couple sang their own 2nd March-in song: Teresa Teng's 我只在乎你 (I Only Care For You) to thunderous applause.
It was apparent why Kevin fell for her voice when the sweet notes rang out. But Kevin's bravery in performing before a lifetime's worth of friends and family when he was very sure he couldn't sing would have contributed to at least half the applause. On our part, we thought the duo sounded lovely and would make for a very harmonious pair indeed!
It was really a very sweet wedding with a stunning couple who were exceedingly friendly and sat down to talk with us as we ate our burger dinners. You could really tell how much the guests loved the comfortable, happy couple by the cheers and hoots at every item on the program...even with guests cheering for us as we ended our final song. Roving photographers captured instant shots for the guests to take home and everybody wanted theirs, of what might be one of the sweetest warmest weddings we've ever had the pleasure to play at.

Song To Recommend:
Lovin' You - A soulful version of the classic by Japanese singer Ken Hirai.
I felt privileged to be at Chris and Peggy's wedding celebration, not just because the couple trusted us implicitly to provide a night of rousing music, but also because I was privy to information perhaps not many others knew about.
Chris shared with me a particularly heart-wrenching period of their relationship. This was about three years ago, shortly after Peggy left for studies in Australia.
It was a trying time when they had many disagreements. The number of phone calls slowed down to an agonising trickle, until it stopped completely. Chris was devastated, and he did what he felt was the only thing he could: picked himself up and bought an air ticket to Perth.
Carrying his passport and wallet as his only possessions, he flew over and had a heart-to-heart talk with Peggy. Fortunately, they managed to resolve their misunderstandings, and Chris flew back to Singapore the next day!
Knowing their love story also helped me understand why Chris chose Angels Brought Me Here for their first march-in:
But I'm finally here tonight
Picking up the pieces
Walking back into the light
To the sunset of your glory
Where my heart and future lies
There's nothing like that feeling
When I look into your eyes
My dreams came true
When I found you
I found you
My miracle
The band and I had a fantastic time at the wedding! I was blessed with a strong team of musicians with me, and Ariel was a joy to perform with. The Suntec City staff were also quite amazing. They provided a little lamp for Qiuyun so that she could look at her scores clearly, and even pulled up a low table to place our glasses of water.
Congratulations again, Chris and Peggy. Thank you for engaging us, and may you both enjoy many sweet and happy days ahead!

Compliments from Chris:
Hi Hsin Yeow and company,Chris here.
I received many great feedback about the performance of the band.
Some mentioned that my wedding was tastefully done up and I feel that its all due to the professional manner that the performance was delivered.
Once again, thank you!! I hope we still have opportunities to work together again..
Cheryl's Thoughts: Fallen
A wedding marks a new beginning for the couple involved. For me, Marc & Emily's wedding also marked a new experience for me, as it was my first time playing with Melvin, as well as accompanying Sofyan and Tanya, who were very smooth as both the singers and the emcees for the night. It was also my first time at the Mandarin Ballroom at the Meritus Mandarin, and believe me when I say that the ballroom deserves its own paragraph.
When you say ballroom, most people think of the standard rectangular room with tables in rows and a small stage at the front. Well, if you want something different, consider this: an auditorium style room where tables are arranged on 3 different split levels and where the stage looks like an actual theatre stage. As a result of this concept where the whole ballroom is curved to face the stage, every 1 or 2 tables ends up on their own little "balcony" of sorts. It really is a novel concept, and being on the 35th floor just adds to it. Just make sure you're comfortable walking down those flights of stairs in your long flowing wedding gown.
Emily certainly had no problems, looking exactly like those fairy tale scenes where the princess gracefully decends a majestic staircase, floating on the arm of her prince Marc. While they opted for a traditional first march-in to Pacabel's Canon in D, my favourite was the second march-in, to one of my all time favourite songs, Fallen by Lauren Wood. Tanya did a fantastic job on the song, and having an experienced bassist like Melvin on this song really injected something special to it. But what took my breath away was Emily's lovely gown, in traditional red but a very modern style, and Marc's suit with matching subtle red detailing.
All said, it was a night of firsts, both for us and for Emily and Marc, but a lovely night and one to remember. A special shout out to the audience, who clapped appreciately for every song, even those sitting on the other side of the room. During the tradtional three toasts, it was obvious that the loudest toast went to wishing the happy couple the gift of children as soon as possible. So let me echo that wish here: Marc and Emily, here's wishing you everlasting happiness, and as many adorable children as you could wish for!

"I'll also like to thank my husband, thank you for not having the 7-year itch...". Everyone laughed when they hear Audrey say this in her thank you speech. Funny as it might sound, I thought it showed how Audrey does not take their dating-marathon relationship for granted. So after a long 7-year dating marathon, Richard and Audrey finally tied the knots at Sentosa, which holds a special meaning in their hearts. When the band arrived, it was drizzling a little, and we saw Richard and Audrey having their solemnsation with many of their close friends and family outside The Pavilion. :)
The banquet started off with Tien-yao and I singing "I Finally Found Someone", along with Raziz's wonderful saxophone accompaniment. Being on the high stage meant that we could oversee most of the guests, and we were very happy to see some of the guests mouthing along the lyrics with us in between their bites!
The 2nd march-in is a special song which touched Audrey a lot when watching the Korean drama serial "Boys Before Flowers". So we learned the song specially for her, with Tien-yao on guitar and Raziz on saxophone:
The couple also shared a video clip which featured their close friends' congratulatory messages, which I find is always a memorable keepsake. :)
I was also very amused when a female elderly guest came up to me during my break and asked if I could sing "Nobody". Who could have imagined the reach of this song? :)
And though it was a month to Christmas, Richard and Audrey thought it would be nice for the band to perform 1 Christmas song, and we did! All I Want For Christmas Is You:
Congratulations once again Richard and Audrey! :)

Jit & Brell have been together for 7 years, and after being engaged for 3 the last years, they finally tied the knots this November. Here's the couple's answer to me when I asked if they have any interesting stories to share:
"Brell learnt not to let Jit organize holidays after he arranged a weeklong trip to Russia, with a visa for only two days, which resulted in the Singapore Consulate having to rush to our aid in Moscow and force a passport official who had earlier denied us a new visa, to grant us an extension and get us out of trouble a few hours before our visas expired.
Jit learnt that Brell does tend to know what’s best after, insisting on moving his belongings to another apartment in paper and plastic bags, in an open top van, only for it to rain and everything to fall out when picked up.
Jit also learnt that Brell could probably set a record for watching Horror films after making him sit through 8 horror films in 1 weekend.
Brell also learnt that, Liverpool are the greatest team on the planet, that Steven Gerrard is amazing, that Fernando Torres comes from Spain and that Manchester United are a pile of crap"
So, after reading this, I was really curious to meet the couple for myself! On the big day, I was received by the gentle Jit, and the graceful Brell (I LOVE her wedding dress and head veil, see photo below). The party was like a mini-world; many guests flew in for the wedding celebration, so we had many guests of different nationalities and races!
I could not help but notice that Jit and Brell had chosen many songs by British artists: Elton John, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Ronan Keating etc. There were many British among the guests afterall :)
The guests were especially appreciative of the songs, especially the Mandarin songs, and the classics and jazz songs. We also did a special song - it was the birthday of Brell's father, so the band did an impromptu rendition of the Happy Birthday song for him :)

On a side note, other than meeting Sam from Vocare Media (we've a promotion with them here), I also bumped into a long lost friend from our secondary school days! Mindy was the official photographer for Jit and Brell's wedding. She recognised me and came up to say hi; imagine my surprise, after more than 10 years from school! She is now a budding, award-winning full-time photographer. Check out her photos here.
So, after our performance, the party was long from over. According to the programme I received, the party continued at La Villa, the lovely alfresco dining restaurant at River Valley Road. Well, they had wedding celebrations in the UK, Hong Kong, and now Singapore, which truly made a marathon of wedding celebrations. In Brell's own words "Let's Party!". And sure they did! :)

After many days of torrential rains and once-in-50-years floods, Peak Yuen and Jonathan woke up to sunny skies on the day of their wedding. They must have prayed quite hard, because the weather held up wonderfully, throughout the solemnisation ceremony held just outside the East India Room.
After the ceremony, guests adjorned to the East India Room, and began their lunch buffet. Together with Justin and Boon Chye, I started first with a set of jazz standards. There were nods of appreciation, but I wanted to engage the audience a bit more.
During our break, I quickly announced that the second march-in was 甜蜜蜜 (Honey Sweet), and invited the guests to sing along with me. They readily obliged, so Peak Yuen and Jonathan were treated to a rousing welcome as they walked into the ballroom.
Feeling cheeky, I invited Jonathan to serenade Peak Yuen with 月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart). I was second-time lucky when Jonathan agreed without a moment's hesitation. The crowd responded with loud and appreciative applause.
Thank you, Peak Yuen and Jonathan, for being so sporting. Congratulations again on getting married, and may you both enjoy a blissful marriage.

Song To Recommend:
I Know - a beautiful instrumental piece, perfect for a short walk-in.
Embraceable You - Love this romantic tune. The song fits Peak Yuen and Jonathan to a T, judging by how their arms were always intertwined.

As requested by the couple, we performed Greatest Day (by Take That) for the 1st march-in. Fantastic lyrics:
Today this could be
The greatest day of our lives.
Before it all ends
Before we run out of time
Stay close to me.
Stay close to me
Watch the world come alive tonight
Stay close to me
Megan and Justin finished their 10-year dating marathon, and finally tied the knots on 18 Nov 09 @ Capella. The affable Justin took the stage himself to address the guests after the 1st march-in, and introduced a travel montage which they put together. "Not to show you a travel documentary, but to share with you the happy moments we had when we travelled, and also to show you how happy we really were when we were together"
And, not forgetting the real wedding cake which they ordered specially for this celebration...

And the couple's friends presented a cute caricature of the couple with a travel theme as a surprise gift for them:

Incidentally, the day was also the birthday of Justin's mother. So the band was more than happy to sing a Happy Birthday song for her when the cake was presented to the guests!
I asked Justin later why he wanted to have a wedding lunch on a Wednesday afternoon, he replied that he had loved for the guests to enjoy the scenic view one can see from the huge window panel. Indeed, the band was so attracted to the swimming pool we regretted not bringing our swimming barangs along... (just kidding):

The band doing a rehearsal and soundcheck:
Our first time dining at The Knolls at Capella. All thanks to Justin and Megan for this sumptuous meal before our performance:
Congratulations to the lovely couple!!! May you have many bountiful babies soon!
Check out these beautiful photos by Eng Hong of 39 East (as with the band photos above)! Our tie-up promotions here.

Compliments from Justin & Megan:
Dear Bevlyn, Ein Ein and Clarence,
Megan and I would just like to drop you A Little Note (pardon the pun!) to thank you for putting up such a fantastic performance at our wedding lunch yesterday!!
Our guests really loved your performance and Bevlyn’s lovely singing – there were so many compliments that we don’t know how to start relaying them to you. The oldies really loved the Deng Lijun songs and the ‘not-too-old’ ones loved everything from “If You Could What I see” to “爱很简单” to “恋之憩” (which sounded really beautiful ‘live’ – it’s an all-time favourite of our not-too-young friends). We loved all the songs (and it’s not just cos’ we chose them!) – including the birthday rendition for my mum.
We very much enjoyed the wedding and hope you did too – your performance created such a warm and touching atmosphere that we couldn’t have asked for more. Once again, our sincere appreciation for all your help – not just on the actual day, but the days/weeks of preparations and ding-dong emails leading up to it as well!!
Warmest regards,
Justin & Megan
