A Little Dream seeks to move, inspire and engage our wedding couples and guests with the magic of live music. Hsin Yeow's thoughts: We Could Be In Love

Imelda, Adeline and I had a fantastic time at Azhar and Sri's wedding!

The evening got off to a great start when we met Azhar's friend, Yasser, who made sure our every need was taken care of. He even took some food from the buffet line and asked us to help ourselves during our break!

I was glad to finally meet Azhar, as we had communicated over numerous e-mails to determine which march-in song was most suitable for his sword-bearers. I was honoured that he trusted my recommendation so much, as he chose the one I picked. Here it is:


Imelda and I also enjoyed singing "We Could Be In Love" and the Spanish version of "Lucky". It felt good to challenge ourselves with new songs every now and then. The applause from the audience as we delivered these songs was reward enough.

We also knew that many members of the audience could sing, so we invited two guys (one of whome was Yasser) onstage to perform. In fact, Yasser ended the night's performance with a rousing, full-throated version of the Sinatra classic "My Way". He brought the house down!

Hsin Yeow's thoughts: 今生注定 (My Destiny)

Peiwen is such a sweetheart. At first, Terence agreed to engage only Ji Xiang and myself to perform. Peiwen felt that having another singer would be even more romantic and secretly got in touch with me to add one more singer and tweak the song list to include more duets.

Peiwen wrote, "Don't tell Terence!" It felt as if she was whispering in my ear, "Terence has done so much for me, I should give him a surprise. I can't wait to see his face when he sees two singers!"


Terence and Peiwen held their solemnisation ceremony at the poolside.
Apart from being a romantic spot, the familiar landmark of Changi Airport makes for a striking backdrop!

Peiwen prepared more than one surprise. Halfway through the set, the wedding coordinator wheeled out a birthday cake for Terence! Before he could blow out the candles, I asked him to name three reasons why he loved Peiwen. Terence passed the 'test' with flying colours!


Peiwen and Terence were really perfect hosts; they thanked us profusely, and insisted we sit at the table to enjoy the sumptuous buffet spread.

Thank you so much Peiwen and Terence, for inviting us to be part of your wedding celebration. May your marriage be filled with joy and laughter always!

Serene's thoughts: Lucky

Patrick and Hera's wedding was held at the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Hotel.

This unique venue definitely set me, and I am sure their guests in the right mood to attend a wedding with it’s stylish architecture, vast spaces, modern decor, and glimpses of natural light peeking into the hotel’s interior. As the evening went on, I soon pieced together how this venue must hold a special place in Patrick and Heras’ hearts. The first clue was when I learnt that Hera is a "Singapore Girl" from watching the video montage.


Patrick was a natural charmer when it came to delivering the couple’s speech. Firstly and unconventionally, he took the stage alone joking that his bride happily entrusted him with the job, causing laughter to breakout around the room while Hera watched him lovingly from the VIP table. Hera looked beautiful in a red evening gown with crystal details.

The groom then went on to thank a group of friends who rushed to attend their wedding shortly after touching down from an international flight, as well as other colleagues (who initially did not manage to change their flight schedules) for using "creative" means just to attend their wedding, to which the many “knowing” parties burst out laughing.

He ended his speech with a very touching moment. The one sentence that touched my heart and I am sure many. I manage to catch the priceless moment Hera teared when Patrick ended his speech saying "To Hera, my best friend, thank you for marrying me."

I then realized the significance of the song “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat that they have chosen for their 2nd March In. It left a smile on my face.

Hui Bing's thoughts: Grow Old With You

Jenny and Tianguo loved travelling and since their wedding was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel at the airport, they decided to adopt ‘travel’ as their wedding theme. Their creativity and ideas took flight, literally.

The wedding dinner was code-named TJ99 (their initials with '99' to represent eternity), their guests were asked to 'check in' at the registration table and their wedding invitation cards came in the form of airline boarding passes. The couple also put up pictures of their travels to Krabi, Taiwan, Australia etc since they got together in 2006.

The travel theme was consistently adopted, right down to the emcees' script, as the "cabin crew", on behalf of the "pilot and co-pilot", wished their guests a happy and smooth flight. The emcees also got the guests to fold paper aeroplanes and throw it around the ballroom when Jenny and Tianguo had their second march-in. How's that for an innovative march-in?

We were happy to provide the 'inflight entertainment' and we had a great time singing all the songs which TJ had selected, including "Do I Make You Proud" which they dedicated it to their parents and "That's What Friends Are For", for Jenny and Tianguo's close bunch of brothers and sisters, without whom the themed wedding wouldn't have been possible.

Hi Bevlyn,

I'm writing in to express my heartfelt thanks for Huibing, Junxiong, Ein Ein and Jixiang for their brilliant performance at our wedding!

My guests were all very impressed by the band but being a shy lot, they might not have applauded loud enough but they really appreciate and enjoyed listening to the band. I know because they kept asking me about the band after the wedding and were in awe of how amazing the band sounded.

Some of them even thought that a CD was playing when Huibing and Junxiong sang the first duet on stage! Kudos really to you guys!! Our wedding wouldn’t be quite the same without you all! Definitely a charming highlight of our big night and a must-have! Engaging the band was truly one of the best decisions we made for the wedding.

My only regret is not being able to really sit down and listen to the band cos we were practically running around the whole time. But I know I will have the chance to do so at my friend’s wedding cos she has asked me for the contact of you guys! I am more than glad to introduce her to your website cos I honestly cannot wait to see and hear you guys in person again!
