A professional wedding live band comprising more than 20 versatile singers, emcees, songwriters and musicians, A Little Dream provides a one-stop service for your music needs. Hsin Yeow's thoughts: Rite Of Passage

When we first began performing at weddings, we relied heavily on positive word-of-mouth.

Now that we have several years of experience --- which translates to hundreds of weddings --- tucked under our belt, we feel confident enough to advertise our services in bridal magazines.

We're feeling the (financial) pinch, that's for sure, but the satisfaction of seeing our ads in the magazines assuages our pain somewhat.

This month, we're featured in two local bridal magazines, Her World Brides and Blissful Brides.

Well, we paid good money to be in the latter, but luck played a part in our involvement in Her World Brides. They chose to feature two couples who engaged us for their weddings.

Band Aid

For the evening reception at Changi Village Hotel, the couple engaged A Little Dream to emcee and sing. "I requested their three-piece band to include a saxophonist, which they gladly obliged," says Josephine.

The band also performed and sang her wedding march-in songs (a Spanish and a Korean song). The rest of the entertainment included a mix of English and Mandarin numbers.

Hsin Yeow: Thanks Josephine! I hope to sing the Spanish and Korean songs again.
