Hsin Yeow's thoughts: Come Fly With Me
After performing at Allan and Jane's wedding, Bevlyn, Matthew and I rushed to Ang Mo Kio perform for Jackson and Magdalene. That's right. Ang Mo Kio.
Instead of choosing the typical wedding venues, Jackson and Magdalene chose to get married at Presbyterian High School.
It was a most unusual location, and I was really eager to see how they would decorate the hall, where the buffet reception would be held. The task fell on Juanna's shoulders. Juanna was the couple's wedding planner, and she marshalled a group of Church friends to do the job. Take a look at the result below:

One of the highlights was Jackson's performance of his self-penned number, <<勇往直前>> (Keep Going). It was Jackson's maiden effort at writing a Mandarin song, and he acquitted himself handsomely.
The tune was infectious, and Jackson's earnest singing touched the hearts of Magdalene as well as their guests.

We had great fun performing at the wedding! The most memorable part of the evening was the first dance. It felt as if time slowed down just for Jackson and Magdalene as they danced to Bevlyn's rendition of The Way You Look Tonight. I could see Jackson's lips moving, and I was sure that he was singing the song to his lovely bride.
After the romantic number, we switched gears and played the infectious Sway, hoping to draw more people to the dance floor. It worked! Even Jackson and Magdalene were shimmying to the music!
Congratulations Jackson and Magdalene! May you both enjoy a blissful and bountiful (lots of kids) marriage!
