Bevlyn's thoughts: La Vie En Rose (Life In Pink)

Seow Ling & Chong Ping emailed me to request for a last minute change of their 1st march-in song choice to the version of 'La Vie En Rose' they had heard on our website; for that instant I felt really flattered. I was ecstatic this gypsy-jazz arrangement with violin and guitar has rubbed off on them!

When I entered the Pacific Ballroom, I remember gasping a little because I had forgotten just how big and long the ballroom is! The dinner started at 845pm, which is rather normal for a wedding with a long guestlist. Everything sailed smoothly with the impeccable chemistry between the two lady emcees, the first combination of such I have seen so far.

The video highlights, as most of us know, always shows the arduous process of the groom receiving the bride. Seow Ling and Chong Ping's one captured the 'ten commandments' which Chong Ping declared out loud as a sign of consent to carry them out for the rest of his life. The classic 'Your money is your money and my money is yours' was naturally one of them. All I can say is, Seow Ling's sisters definitely sought to take good care of Seow Ling by 'taking good care' of Chong Ping!

Though the band performed only one set of music for the evening, we were happy that the guests gave us appreciative applause almost after every song, especially the mandarin classics.





Chong Ping and Seow Ling have had a 10-year marathon relationship before racing to the finishing line. We are simply amazed by their steadfastness for each other. Congratulations!!!
